THE FOUNDATION
10th of march, Slovenska Kmečka stranka (the Slovenian Farmers’ party) establishes in Gorizia its own financial institution under the name of Kmečka banka. In the 1924 Kmečka Banka changes its name to Banca Agricola – Kmečka Banka. Up to 1996 Banca Agricola - Kmečka banka had operated as a limited by guarantee lending cooperative; later, following an alliance with a new strategic partner, moves into a joint stock company structure (società per azioni).2001

The banking activity of Banca agricola - Kmečka banka is sold to Banca Popolare di Cividale, while the financial activity is retained. The institution which had been previously in charge of the banking activity changes its business name to KB1909 Società finanziaria per azioni - Finančna Delniška Družba.2006

KB Center
KB 1909 Group endorses the refurbishment of the historic premises of Banca Agricola - Kmečka Banka in Corso Verdi which now hosts the Slovenian Associations of Gorizia. Thus, after a hundred years, only a few meters away from the building known as “Trgovski dom”, a new cultural centre – the KB Center - opens its doors.2007

The Ljubljana Stock Exchange
The Ljubljana Stock Exchange allowed the trading of KBG1 bonds on the semi-official market: the first day of trading is set to October 10th. The KBG1 became the first foreign financial paper on that market.2009

100 years
On March 10, the KB1909 company celebrates exactly 100 years of its existence. On the occasion of the centenary, the KB1909 company financially supported some projects in the field of education and thus dedicated the celebration to the development of the community to which it belongs.2012

Opening horizons
On April 20th the grand opening of the exposition Opening horizons - Art of the 20th century between Italy and Slovenia took place in the ``Salone degli Incanti``. The exposition simbolizes a great comeback of the paintings, which once belonged to the Slovene Bank of Trieste, purchased by Banca Antonveneta in 1999, which was later purchased by Banca Monte dei Paschi di Siena.2012

On June 12th the Shareholder Meeting approved the alteration of the business name in KB1909 Società per azioni - delniška družba.2017

The restructuring
The restructuring and liquidation procedure of the company KB1909 begins, which lasts until 2022.2022
